I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the excellent sets that Red Jackson played at our wedding. Everybody thought you were brilliant, and as far as Russ and I are concerned you guys absolutely made the day! I'll definitely be checking your website to see when/ where you'll next be playing that we can get to. In the meantime thank you again, and happy playing!

It's something when you are up staged at your own wedding by the band !! You guys were just sensational and if you could have been a fly on the wall at breakfast you would have been hearing sentiments very similar to that from EVERYBODY. You have a new fan club.

Red Jackson are indeed a band that can fuse chicago blues with mellow grooves. Their excellent musicianship goes hand in hand with the rapport that they built with the audience.

Andrew Tourle, Events Co-ordinator, Eastbourne Eastbourne Borough Council, booked us for Magnificent Motors, and Eastbourne Beer Festival.

Jim was talking to Robin Bibi on Friday when you were playing – he thought you were brilliant (quite a compliment from him!) – he stayed about an hour longer than he should have done before driving back to London just to listen to you!

Dear Teej

Thanks to you and the boys in Red Jackson for performing at Open Up. It was particularly useful to have you warm up the event and create a buzz by the Buttercross. You may also like to know that friends of mine had made a particular trip to hear you and were delighted – so thanks from them also.

As you know, this was a first try at this sort of event and, although we had a slow start, it really went in to overdrive on Friday. So there is talk of trying something similar in 2009... probably the last Friday each month from April to September. But more of that anon.

If you have any suggestions and feedback that will help us plan any future such events, I'd be pleased to hear from you..

ay up lads, well bit of a weird one. have you got any plans of giggin in windsor in the near or distant future?. Myself and my son, on the last two occasions of you visiting windsor sat there most of the day watching you smash out those tunes. and the next question are you planning on a second album? your debut album would smash most of the latest releases, i listened to it everyday out in afghanistan on my recent deployment with the army. well hopefully you are planning on coming if not ill go to one in your gig list. take care, keep up the good music, red jacksons image is cool too.
